Privacy Policy
Last updated June 11, 2026
This website is operated by Foothills Community Collective(“we,” “us”), the nonprofit that produces Elevation Celebration in Conifer, Colorado. This policy explains what information we collect through elevationcelebration.org, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the festival, we never sell your information, and we don’t run advertising trackers on this site.
Information you give us
We collect information when you choose to submit it:
- Applications and sign-ups — volunteer, entertainment, vendor, sponsorship, and VIP forms collect your name, email, phone, and related details (company name, waiver signature, booth or performance info) so we can review your application and coordinate the event.
- Contact form — your name, email, optional phone, and message, so we can reply.
- Dunk tank nominations and votes — the nominee’s name and a contact phone number (the nominee’s or yours) so we can actually invite the person; the reason you give is visible only to the festival team. Approved names and vote tallies appear publicly on the board.
- Email updates — if you’re on our community list we use your email to send festival news. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing always works.
Payments
Payments and invoices are processed by Stripe. Your card number or bank account details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers — we only receive confirmation of payment and the contact details you entered.
Cookies
We use a small number of functional cookies only: an anonymous identifier that limits dunk tank voting to one vote per person per day, and a session cookie for festival staff who log in to the admin area. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or social media pixels.
Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from people rather than bots. Turnstile evaluates limited device and network signals to make that determination. Cloudflare’s handling of that data is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
How we use and share information
We use your information to run the festival: reviewing applications, coordinating vendors and sponsors, processing payments and invoices, replying to messages, and sending the updates you signed up for. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, cloud hosting (Google Cloud), and automated content screening for public submissions — and with the festival’s organizing team. We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Photos and video at the festival
Elevation Celebrationis a public community event. By attending, you may appear in photos or video we use to promote the festival. If you’d like a specific image taken down, email us and we’ll make it right.
Data retention and your choices
We keep application and payment records as long as needed for festival operations and our nonprofit bookkeeping. You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to remove a dunk tank nomination — email info@elevationcelebration.org and we’ll take care of it.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them online. (Kids are absolutely welcome at the festival.)
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we’ll update it here with a new date. Questions? Email info@elevationcelebration.org or write to Foothills Community Collective, P.O. Box 213, Conifer, CO 80433.
